Chief (Dr.) Segun Olusola and Wife Installed as the Asiwaju Onigbagbo and Yeye Asiwaju Onigbagbo, Christian Association of Nigeria, (C.A.N) Remo North.

Today is a truly special day for the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Remo North, as friends, family, and members of the Christian community gather in joy to celebrate the coronation of Chief Segun Olusola and Mrs. Bunmi Olusola as the Asiwaju Onigbagbo and Yeye Asiwaju Onigbagbo of CAN Remo North. It is a day filled with gratitude, reflection, and heartfelt celebration.

The title of Asiwaju Onigbagbo is not just a position; it is a calling. It speaks to a life lived in service, faith, and quiet consistency. Chief Segun Olusola’s journey to this moment reflects years of commitment to the Church, a passion for unity, and a steady devotion to doing God’s work among His people.

Standing beside him is Mrs. Bunmi Olusola, whose coronation as Yeye Asiwaju Onigbagbo reflects the strength of partnership, compassion, and grace. Her support, kindness, and involvement in Christian service have touched many lives, making this honour not only well deserved but deeply meaningful.

This occasion also invites us to remember those who paved the way. The last Asiwaju Onigbagbo was Sir Olaniwun Ajayi, a respected leader whose life of integrity and courage left a lasting mark. His legacy continues to inspire, reminding us of the values that give this title its true weight and honour.

The warmth of today’s celebration is made even richer by the presence of distinguished guests, family members, and community leaders who came to share in this joyful moment. Among those present were Prince and Princess Tayo Adesanya, the Asoju Oba of Isara; Mr. Adewole Oluwaloni; Prince Ayodele Lawal (Lawanson Autos); Prince Falolu Adetayo Odunsi; Otunba Chief Fatai Sowemimo; Otunba Engr. Oladele Amoda, FNSE; Pa Adebari Ajayi; Omooba Tai Olufemi Ajayi; Hon. John Obafemi; Prince Adeleke Adesoye; and Engr. Adeleke Adekoya. Their presence speaks volumes of the respect and goodwill surrounding this event.

Beyond the titles and formalities, today is about shared faith, shared history, and shared hope. It is a reminder that leadership in the body of Christ is rooted in love, humility, and service to others.

As this new chapter begins, CAN Remo North looks ahead with confidence and hope, trusting that the leadership of Chief Segun Olusola and Mrs. Bunmi Olusola will continue to strengthen the Church, inspire unity, and reflect the values that truly matter.
