Isara Hope for Widows Foundation has just effectuated the 6th edition of the annual gives of palliatives to Muslims who are widows at Isara Remo. 

At the earlier hours of today, the 3rd of June, 2025 the Isara Hope for Widows Foundation presented food items and cash gifts to widows in Isara in light of the coming Ileya festival at the Central Mosque, Isara Remo, Ogun State. 

Muslim Widows from various mosques in Isara Remo gathered at the Community Central Mosque, Oke Oja, Isara Remo to receive the palliatives presented by the widow’s lover foundation. 

Muslim clerics at Isara were present to anchor the prayer session which led to the opening of the event. 

Alhaji Taiwo Bakare gave a speech on the mission and vision of the foundation. In his words,  “We started with Christians six years ago with just  20 packs of rice. Fast forward to today, we have more than a hundred packs of food Items made available for the widows”. “Moving forward, there are plans to empower widows in areas of Small & Medium enterprises“. Alhaji  Taiwo reiterated. 

The religious leaders at the event appreciated the organisers for bringing together financial resources to support and put smiles on the faces of Isara widows at a very challenging time like this. 

The beneficiaries of the gesture were filled with joy after they received money and food items from the foundation. They appreciated the foundation for being there for the widows annually. 


The foundation anthem was recited by members of the organization there present. 

The food items were distributed to the widows.









ABOUT ISARA HOPE FOR WIDOWS FOUNDATION;

Towards the end of Nov. 2019, 

Mrs Dupe Osisanya (UK ) and Funmi Dorcas Adenekan ( UK ) were fuelled by a passion to put smiles on the faces of widows and they set up a WhatsApp platform to promote charitable activities for the vulnerable widows of Isara indigenes by Isara indigenes. 


They shared this vision with friends in the diaspora and at home and got immediate buy-in from the following:
