Christmas Giveaway for widows at Isara Remo in Ogun State

 ISARA HOPE FOR WIDOWS FOUNDATION 2024 CHRISTMAS GIVEAWAY

Today,  the 19th of December, 2024, Isara Hope for Widows Foundation marked another successful event in Isara Remo where widows converged from various quarters to receive food items for the Christmas Celebration. 

The foundation is well known in Isara for its twice-in-a-year gesture to the widows; first during the Eid-il-Kabir festival for the Muslim widows and the other phase for the Christians towards the Christmas celebration. 

The foundation had its Ileya edition this year sometime in June for the Muslim widows at the central mosque in Isara Remo. 

The Christmas edition was held In the Methodist Church. The event was graced by hundreds of widows and numera uno of Isara Remo such as Mr Taiwo Bakare,  and Mr Dele Adebayo, amongst a host of others. 

The opening prayer was held by Reverend S.H Ojesola of Methodist Church Nigeria, Isara Remo. Furthermore, Members of the foundation that were present were introduced and then followed by the introduction of the beneficiaries of the foundation. 

Reverend Ojesola backed his sermon with various Bible verses which bothered on the importance of giving which is in line with what Christ approves of. He encouraged the beneficiaries to also learn from the foundation on the advantage of giving as the act of giving brings in Blessings. He didn’t fail to pray for the members of the foundation to be blessed and enabled to do more. 

Members of the Foundation recited the Foundation’s Anthem with sweet melodies and the beneficiaries sang along with them which was then followed by the presentation of food items to the widows. 


SHORT HISTORY OF ISARA HOPE FOR WIDOWS FOUNDATION.

Towards the end of Nov. 2019, 

MrsDupe Osisanya (UK ) and Funmi Dorcas Adenekan ( UK ) in diaspora fuelled by a passion to put smiles on the faces of widows set up a WhatsApp platform to promote charitable activities for the vulnerable widows of Isara indigenes by Isara indigenes. 

They shared this vision with friends in the diaspora and at home and got immediate buy-in from the following:
