COUNT DOWN TO AFOTAMODI FESTIVAL - DAY 3 OUR DEAR ISARA AFOTAMODI - Saheed 'Lanre Fidelity 3rd November 2023 Isara is our hometown but it's also a great town! Everything about us is unique. There are lots of historical accounts in Isara when you peel back the layers. We've got a lot of memory to fall back on when we reverse back through memory lane growing up at Isara Remo. I would sit on the street corners in my hometown of Isara, Afotamodi, and I would play and have fun with my friends and family, even at night, there was nothing to be scared about, the Banjinis are our source of security strength. And, generally, I say, If you did go to primary and secondary school in your hometown, there are surely many childhood memories ruining through us, there's solidarity with someone that is from your hometown and knows your parents and all that stuff. Our home is our own! We know those who can support us to lift Isara forward, Isara is a community whose triumph story is cla...

The set-up position confers several advantages on the town. Isara is on a knoll. Being on a knoll, it has the best natural advantage of a drainage system which other towns lack. Isara's western and northern boundaries are Akaka, Ode Remo, and Ipara. It has boundaries with Ago-Iwoye, Ijebu North Local Government. It also has boundaries with the Orile-Oko and Obafemi-Owode Local Governments. Isara can boast of over one hundred and seventy-nine villages. Isara people are seasoned farmers and this is because they have a large span of land stretching over thirty kilometers. In population, Isara comes next to Sagamu even though it is not a federated town. Isara has about 15 Hotels, 2 Petrol Stations, youth development, Saw-mills, 6 government-owned primary schools, 3 Government-own...
