Short History of Isara Hope for Widows Foundation

Towards the end of Nov. 2019 ,
Messrs Dupe Osisanya (UK ) and Funmi Dorcas Adenekan ( UK ) in diaspora fuelled by passion to put smiles on the face of widows set up Whatsapp p

latform to promote charitable activities for the vulnerable widows of Isara indigenes by Isara indigenes .

They shared this vision with friends in diaspora and at home and got immediate buy-in from the followings :

3. Bolanle Tomiye - USA
4. Funmi Dara - UK
5. Atinuke Sherry Ishola- Williams - UK
6. Taiwo Bakare - Nigeria
7. Kemi Soyibo - USA Early this year , the following friends bought into the initiatives and came on board the platform :
8. Oluseye Reuben Oyekunle - USA
9. Adeola Otasanya - UK
10 . Bolanle Leshi - USA
11. Kola Bakare - Nigeria

Due to time constraint , not much was achieved last year , the sum of Sixty Thousand ( N60,000) was raised and given as cash gifts during the 2019 Xmas to 15 vulnerable widows which cut across Christians , Muslims , Ajina and Itun Abe residents.

Early this year , we all resolved to scale up our activities to cover more beneficiaries and segmented into two : 1. Muslim Beneficiaries - Ileya Eve 2. Christian Beneficiaries - Xmas Eve Consequently, we are giving out foodstuffs and cash gifts of N5,000 each this Ileya eve to Forty (40 ) Muslim beneficiaries.

We present below full activities of 2020 Ileya Festival gifts by ISARA HOPE FOR WIDOWS FOUNDATION to 40 Vulnerable Muslim Widows and hope to improve on this half yearly and year-in and year-out.

We hope our gifts would put smile in the recipients houses during the Ileya Yuletide .

God bless " Hope for Widows Foundation " Members and our Dear Jerusalem - Isara Remo.

We seize this opportunity to welcome Isara indigene members in Diaspora and At home into our midst to further consolidate our membership and better drive our passion.
