Toluyetty Foundation present foodstuffs to Muslims in Isara to celebrate Ileya Festival...

Exactly one week after "Isara hope for Widows foundation" doled out free gestures to widows at chief Imam's house, another charity organization "Toluyetty foundation" reached out to 200 Muslim beneficiaries at the palace of the Odemo of Isara.

Meanwhile, outside the box, to make it go viral, 100 units of the package were shared in Isara regardless of any religious believe.

The gesture was targeted towards ensuring that the the vulnerable were touched with atleast one package.

The chief Imam of Isara Remo, Alhaji Saliu Ireyemi in his remark, appreciated the chairman of the foundation and also applaud the team for a program well planned.

He further appreciated Toluyetty foundation for putting smile on people's face most especially at this crucial time.

SHORT HISTORY OF TOLUYETTY FOUNDATION
Toluyetty Foundation is a not-for-profit charity, founded in 2018, with the simple yet important mission to giving a helping hand to the less privileges with specialization in the area of student education and care for the poor and vulnerable.
The chairman of the foundation, Mr. Segun Oluwafemi Olusola in diaspora (UK) is fuelled by passion to continue the legacies of his late elder sister who derive much joy in touching lives by giving out to the needy and the less privileges when she was alive.
Mr. Segun started the foundation to the memory of his lovely sister in his bid to make sure he continue from where she stopped by  putting smiles on the face of vulnerable old people and students who could not satisfy their academic needs.
In February 2019, the foundation presented clothing materials to the CAN chairman, Isara Remo for further distribution to children who they know might need it.
This year, we have resolved to scale up our activities to cover more beneficiaries. Consequently, we are giving out foodstuffs this Ileya eve to 250 Vulnerable across Isara and we hope to improve on this half yearly.
We hope our gifts would put smile in the recipient houses during the Ileya yuletide.

  IN MEMORY OF ODEMO SAMUEL ADETAYO AKISANYA, AFONLADE II ODEMO OF ISARA REMO (1941 - 1985) 126TH BIRTHDAY IN POSTHUMOUS  - The attached video is 56 years old.  When the palace of Great Saki Oba Samuel Akisanya, The late Odemo of Isara was razed down by an irate mob in 1968.  - He was one of the great Nigerian Nationalists and that was his palace where the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo was a regular visitor.  - Odemo Samuel Adetayo Akisanya was born in Isara on the 1st of August, 1898 (126 years ago today)... - HRH S.A Akisanya was a member of the Nigerian Youth Movement. Other members of the Movement which was at that time a quasi-political/pressure group were Nnamdi Azikiwe, Ernest Ikoli, Alvan Ikoku, Akinola Maja, H.O.
