CELEBRATING 2022 ILEYA FESTIVAL:

 ISARA HOPE FOR WIDOWS FOUNDATION PUT SMILES ON THE FACES OF WIDOWS IN SARA.



The Givers' team; Isara Hope for Widows Foundation doll out food items, cash gifts and health support to Isara widows at Isara Central Mosque, Oke-Oja Isara Remo. 


Today, 5th July 2022.


In the not less than 3-hour program chiefly coordinated by Alh. Taiwo Taoreeb Bakare and his team on behalf of all other members of the Foundation in the diaspora.


Alhaji Al-Amin did the opening prayer and further admonishes the widows to continue to support the brains behind the foundation with prayers to continue to progress in all they do.





















































The chief Imam of Isara, Alhaji Solid Ireyemi delivered an inspiring speech on the benefits of giving helping hands to the people, most especially the widows. He further encouraged the widow to pray for the givers who took from their hard-earned income to support humanity every year. 


The foundation has scaled it up to a new dimension by bringing up a health Insurance initiative for the widows of Isara to complement the annual food and cash gift that has been in place since 2019.


The chief anchor of the event, Alh. Bakare introduced the Imams, Alfas and other members of the foundation there present before making the official introduction statement about the formation and objectives of the Isara Hope for Widows Foundation.


He further re-iterates the relevance of the annual gesture on the part of the beneficiaries as the foundation's little way of putting smiles on the faces of Isara widows during and after the Ileya Yuletide. 


Sister Yetunde Oyekunle coordinated and ensure the even distribution of the gestures under the able supervision of the chief Imam of Isara Remo Alh. Solid Ireyemi. 


With smiles on their faces, few of the beneficiaries were able to represent the rest to tender their unreserved appreciation to the founders and members of the foundation for the great initiative and yearly support towards the widows of Isara.


The health insurance opportunity was another added advantage that made their day as they all showed unreserved interest in participating in the health insurance scheme. 


One of the founders of the foundation Mrs Dorcas Funmi Adenekan promised to sponsor a few of the windows on one-year health insurance as the beneficiaries shall be nominated by the Chief Imam.


Alhaji Taiwo Bakare did the opening prayer which draws the curtain for this year's Ileya giveaway exercise.


Short History of Isara Hope for Widows Foundation.


Towards the end of Nov. 2019, 

Messrs Dupe Osisanya (UK ) and Funmi Dorcas Adenekan ( UK ) in diaspora fuelled by a passion to put smiles on the face of widows set up a Whatsapp platform to promote charitable activities for the vulnerable widows of Isara indigenes by Isara indigenes. 


They shared this vision with friends in diaspora and at home and got immediate buy-in from the followings :

  IN MEMORY OF ODEMO SAMUEL ADETAYO AKISANYA, AFONLADE II ODEMO OF ISARA REMO (1941 - 1985) 126TH BIRTHDAY IN POSTHUMOUS  - The attached video is 56 years old.  When the palace of Great Saki Oba Samuel Akisanya, The late Odemo of Isara was razed down by an irate mob in 1968.  - He was one of the great Nigerian Nationalists and that was his palace where the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo was a regular visitor.  - Odemo Samuel Adetayo Akisanya was born in Isara on the 1st of August, 1898 (126 years ago today)... - HRH S.A Akisanya was a member of the Nigerian Youth Movement.
