AFOTAMODI USA, GALA NITE 2022.

 AFOTAMODI USA - GALA NITE:

- 24th September 2022.

The sons and daughters of Isara Remo in the USA played host to sons and Daughters of Isara Remo across the globe to celebrate the first-ever Afotamodi Day in the USA.

In the bid to bring the sons and daughters of Isara Remo in the diaspora together for the progress and development of Isara, the US-based indigenous sons and daughters of the ancient town of Isara under the leadership of Prince Adeleke Adesoye welcomed Isara chiefs and dignitaries to the occasion.

The classical but unique celebration took place on the evening of Saturday, the 24th of September, 2022 at the Centre at North Park 10040, Addison Avenue, Franklin Park, Chicago, and eminent and illustrious sons and daughters of Isara were in attendance at Grace the event.

The Odemo of Isara, Kabiyesi Alaiyeluwa, Oba Albert Adebose Mayungbe, Erinsiba III, was ably represented by our own, Chief. (Dr.) Kehinde Osinfade, the Baateru of Isara Remo.

From the Camera lens; it was reported that one of the foremost leaders of Isara, a UN Peace Ambassador and the chairman of Isara Patriotic Forum, Otunba (Engr.) Oladele Amoda FNSE, the Bobasuwa of Remo Land, and the Giwa of Isara Remo were in attendance to grace the occasion among other sons and daughters of Isara there present.

Chief Kehinde Osinfade, the Baateru of Isara and the Otunba of Ogunsere ruling house, Chief Aremo Adekanmbi, Aremo Abiodun Soyibo, Mr. Ambali, Mr. Sowemimo, Mr. Sola Awosola among other Isara sons and daughters of Isara Remo from the UK and around the world attended the event.

From home; I review many of the quintessential remarks of the people at home who expressed their heartfelt felicitations and feelings about the festival.

Mr. Benson Olusesan Lawal, the chairman of Isara Community Development Association in his words -

"This is marvelously impressive. I am delighted beyond measure to see Isara Indigenes in the US come together as a family to celebrate our dear town. This without gainsaying is a way of implanting our dear town, Isara on US soil. I commend the Chairman and Members of Isara Indigenes in the US for this unique and memorable event. May God continue to grant all of us what it takes to take Isara to the next level. You have stood yourselves out as a pacesetter for others in the diaspora to follow. ...and so on like that, among other complementary comments that followed the commencement of the celebration.

I want to congratulate the organizers of the epoch-making and idiosyncratic event, starting from the president, Prince Adeleke Adesoye, the Social Secretary, Mrs. Oyindamola Akinrotimi (Nee Sotikare), Mr. Adeleke Adekoya, Mr. Nelson among other patriotic sons and daughters of Isara Remo for the success of the first-ever Afotamodi celebration in the USA.

It is my prayer that God will continue to be with you all and bless you in multiple folds for all that you have spent on the promotion of Isara Remo towards oneness, progress, and development.

May God continue to bless and prosper you in all that you do.

Indeed! We at home are very proud of the fact that the celebration was a success, I believe that Isara is a blessed town, for anyone who believes in the progress of his root and looks back to make it better will forever move forward with his generation.

Isara is a great place to be! The success of this celebration is another signal of good things coming to Isara.

Isara is a great place to be! Let us all unite and come together to support the ancient town to the top! Together we can! and it is possible...

Tí obè kò bá pò, kò ye kó kan! Yes, I believe.

Happy 2022 Afotamodi Festival in advance, that is the main festival we all are expected to contribute to, the next thing to do, let's raise funds to pave way for another community project worth emulating.
